What and Why

"dual fuel"?

LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) is either Butane or Propane.

Often, especially in winter and cooler climates, some Propane is added to cylinders primarily containing Butane.

So by definition, a dual fuel regulator, is one that is designed and manufactured to be used with ether Butane or Propane or a mix. (Note: this has no reference to any type or style of cylinder connection, only the gas in the cylinder)

Marine grade regulators have to be dual fuel, and are rated at a 30 mbar output. Appliances must be compatible.

Marine cookers manufactured since 2000, should be compatible.
